Improving document management: Which Orfeo NG module have you found most useful?

Hello everyone,

I have been implementing Orfeo NG in my office for a few months now, and after several adjustments and a few minor struggles with the learning curve, I can finally say that the system is starting to show its true potential. I thought it would be a good idea to start this thread to share experiences and, above all, learn how each organization is leveraging this data management system.

My experience so far

One of the first things I noticed when migrating from the classic version was the web interface. It's much more modern, less cluttered, and more in line with what one expects from a document platform today. The filing system has worked quite well for us, especially since we were able to automate certain workflows that previously relied too heavily on the memory (and goodwill) of each employee.

In addition, customized reports have been key. At my organization, we conduct regular audits, and previously, spending hours consolidating data was the norm. Now, with just a few clicks, I can generate reports ready for presentation. It even allowed me to better organize certain analyses that I used to do manually similar to using Case Study Writing Help Dubai to structure a complex report without getting lost in the process.

What I think can still be improved

I've noticed that when multiple departments need to work on the same file, collaboration could be a bit more flexible. It's not bad, but it sometimes feels rigid, especially if the process involves simultaneous decisions. Also, for new users, the platform can be overwhelming without proper training. I found that short sessions by department, using real-world examples of the documents they handle, worked well.

Now I ask you

  1. Which module have you found most useful: filing, administration, reports, files…?

  2. Have they integrated Orfeo NG with other internal tools?

  3. What training strategies have you used?

Gracias por leer y espero que este hilo se convierta en un espacio de intercambio útil para todos los que estamos afinando nuestro flujo documental.
