I've been sitting on a memoir idea for two years and recently started exploring book writers for hire because honestly, I know my story better than anyone but I struggle to translate it into something readable and structured the emotion is there but the craft isn't. The thing is, handing your story to a stranger feels vulnerable, so how did you find someone you actually trusted, and did the final work still feel like your voice?
